Each figure is 1/4 scale, 18 nches tall and one-of-a-kind. Inspired by the mystique of the Georgia Barrier Islands, the Spirits have hand-sculpted heads, hands and shrimpers boots from clay. The eyes are hand-blown crystal. The hair and beards are crafted with white fleece from a Lincoln sheep named 'Peaches'. The costumes are custom made for each Spirit. Some of the accessorites are handmade to scale whie others are authentic items such as Georiga helks, sestars, sand dollars, cochinas, scallops, fish, and coral sea whips. The sweetgrass baskets are created from island sweetgrass in the Sapelo Island tradition.
